Steps to override: (Assuming you have installed wine1.7.29 or higher, and Matlab)MATLAB Startup Folder. In addition, you can also run this program by right-clicking. Click on the drop down menu arrow and select which version of Windows the program was made for. Check the Run this program in compatibility mode for box.
The dll should be mentioned on the list like "msvcr80 (native, built-in)". Now, you can see the dll in list. From "New override for library", select msvcr80.dll, and click on "Add".
